You Can Make a Difference

What is the definition of true success?

Is it having a large bank account?

Is it having a garage full of cars?

Is it having a mansion with so many rooms you can't fill them all?

I would say that all of these material things are an indicator that a person may have succeeded in business, but without one key component I don't believe a person is truly successful.

So what exactly IS the key component?

Doing good.

If you don't have the desire to give back to others through your prosperity, I believe you are missing out on the greatest reason to prosper in the first place. And you are missing out on great blessings and rewards that come from giving to others.

An incredibly wealthy man was asked this question...

Question - "How much will you leave behind when you die?"

Answer - "All of it!"

The truth is that you can't take it with you. So why not be a conduit to help others in need?

Do something good.

That's the focus of today's newsletter.

I want to bring to your attention an opportunity to give back AND to get an immediate return on your giving!

Does the name Jason Marshall ring a bell?

Jason was one of the contestants on my show, "The Next Internet Millionaire".

While he didn't win, Jason did impress me with his intelligence and creativity. But more importantly, he impressed me with his desire to help others.

In fact, Jason has committed a great deal of time and energy to helping a 12 year-old boy by the name of Petey.

Petey suffers from a fatal disease called Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This disease is causing his muscles to be steadily eaten away.

Petey is wheelchar bound, and coming into his late teens, Petey will experience respiratory failure and live dependent on breathing assistance. Cardiac failure is inevitable and his life span... early twenties.

How would you like to provide Petey with the abiity to become more mobile and to enjoy THOUSANDS of dollars worth of valuable money-making products?

I believe the readers of my newsletter are quality people.

Please take a moment to click this link and see how you can make a HUGE difference in Petey's life. This is an extraordinary story and it calls for extraordinary people to heed the call to get involved.

    Well done story, Joel!
I was quite moved by it.
I hope many others were also moved
    to action....
    Bless you.

  2. Jason Stanley Marshall Says:

Thank you Joel and Vincent! Of Course as my site says Petey was one of my main reasons for leaving the show. When Joel personally interviewed me we discussed the time I would have to put in to be his JV. I wasn't willing to give up my job with Petey and so I knew I wouldn't be able to put in the time.

So that brings me to where I am today... helping Petey!

Thanks for all your support and effort!

    Jason

To me it is being happy with where you are in your life. You don't have to have a lot of money, or a huge mansions, or new cars. Everyone strives to make more money, but that doesn't mean you are happy, just human.

  4. Thiago De Carvalho Says:

Money doesn't prove how successful you are.

You can be successful in many things.

The media likes to make people think that success = money.

We are all the same, rich or poor.

More money just brings new problems.

  5. Marcus Hochstadt Says:

I would see one as being successful when s/he is one with him/herself. When s/he is wholeheartedly happy and lives a fulfilled live from the inside out.

I've realized over the years money doesn't really make a person happy. I thought it would make me happy, however, I have found that it's important to really enjoy what you do so you'll have a better attitude at work and really strive to build your business out of a love for what you do. The bottom line is that everyone is out to make money because "ya have to" or else you'll be living on the streets. It's just the nature of the beast! However, family is the MOST important thing in the world and raising your children to be responsible respectable adults in this crazy world is much more valuable than gold. I will say that it does suck to not have enough and that can be REALLY stresssful. However, having too much and not being able to handle it properly can suck just as much as having too little. So many people wonder why Christ himself always talked about the "narrow road," well, I think mentally the right place to be financially is "in the middle," and be able to have the "right" perspective on everything or else riches can corrupt people. I can truly say I'm glad we went through 3 years of financial hell so that I could truly learn what my needs were versus my wants. Sometimes financial harship can be a good thing for taming the flesh.
